About the Rubbing Collection

The Frederick McCormick Korean Collection includes 10 rare woodblock print books. The majority of the collection are tomb memorials for known leaders of the Republic of Korea. The National Library of Korea will now have access to four of these books: Rubbing from the Inscription Stone of O Dal-je (Call No. R2), Rubbing from the Tombstone of Master Cheongsong (Call No. R3), Rubbing from the Inscription Stone of Im Gyeong-eop (Call No. R4), and Rubbing from the Inscription Stone of Seosan daesa (Call No. R10).
