Ownership Stamps
The verification of the authenticity of old documents and the date of printing or transcription requires the analysis of various morphological elements, such as the quality of paper and the characteristics of movable types and woodblock. Moreover, ownership stamps or bookplates on ancient documents provide highly useful information, which allows the identification of the original owners and the method of distribution for the documents.
